As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies responded to a reported suicide threat at a residence near Rice Lake Dam Road. A caller said a man went into the basement with a rope, locked the door, and threatened to hang himself; no weapons were reported. Units made verbal contact and monitored him through a window, and he appeared to be coming out without the rope.
