As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a possible burglary in progress reported north of a residence on Basswood Avenue in Duluth. A caller saw flashlights in a vacant house and a gray Subaru Forester in the driveway. Another caller later reported the house belongs to her grandmother and that the original reporting party, described as a retired officer, was walking around the property. Separate units also handled a burglary alarm at a community center on East Village View Drive.

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a reported physical domestic incident at a residence on Oneida Street in Duluth. A pregnant woman reported that an intoxicated male hit her, tried to break down the bedroom door where she was hiding upstairs, and threatened to get a knife. Due to a partial language barrier with the caller, details were limited. Officers gained entry using a door code and detained the male inside.
