A caller reported that her boyfriend had thrown her out and would not let her back inside to get her children, and later claimed his parents had taken the children and that he was inside with another woman. No weapons were reported, and the caller said she would be waiting outside for officers.

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers in Fresno pursued a vehicle reportedly running red lights while driving west on Shaw Avenue from State Route 168, then south on Cedar Avenue past Ashlan. Spike strips were set up near Cedar and Dakota, and the vehicle continued onto Dayton Avenue and Fountain Way between Cedar and 11th streets. The incident ended in an apparent felony traffic stop on Fountain Way, where the driver exited with hands up and was detained, and the scene was reported clear.
