As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews were dispatched to a reported drowning incident on the beach near West Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores. The child was reported out of the water and awake/breathing but coughing and not breathing normally; air medical transport was later accepted. In a separate call, medics were sent to Robertsdale Healthcare (US Highway 90), room (number withheld), for an elderly male reported not conscious but breathing with agonal respirations and a do-not-resuscitate order.
