As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews were dispatched to a reported smoke smell inside a two-story wood-frame residence near the 1900 block of 2nd Street, by Platt Street and Vine Street. Part of the building was evacuated, and responding units reported nothing visible inside. A separate medical call for a fall was handled at a residence on Bellevue Avenue with entry made at the back of the home.

The caller reported an alarm sounding in one unit for about an hour with no visible flames or smoke and said they would evacuate. Crews arrived to a two-story wood-frame building with nothing apparent showing and a partial evacuation in progress.
