As discussed during the dispatch call, police responded to a report of a possible suicide attempt near E Wellesley Ave after a caller (name withheld) said (name withheld) had slit his wrist and the knife location was unknown. Updated information indicated the person may not have actually cut himself and may have used food dye to simulate an injury. Several other occupants were reportedly in the home and were asked to come outside while officers made contact.
