As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a reported hit-and-run involving a construction worker near a work zone on SR 35 by Francis. A blue truck was initially stopped on the roadside but then reportedly left westbound from around mile marker 1 toward SR 32. The struck individual was described as conscious and denying injuries at the scene. Conditions were noted as slick with standing water after a heavy rainstorm. Separately, units also handled a medical call for a man with an apparent lower leg injury at a lodge and a false alarm at a single-family home on Park Avenue.
