As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers received a high-priority welfare check for a man at the intersection of FM 171 and Pecanway Drive near the city–county line. He reported that he had been beaten, could not see out of one eye, was locked inside his car while people tapped on the windshield, and believed others wanted to kill him. Law enforcement and medical responders were requested for possible assault injuries.
