As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of a male outside a home near North Shawtown in the Swampy Creek area, apparently screaming and possibly yelling into a phone. An officer checked the area, and the caller later reported the screaming had stopped and was unsure if the man was still there.

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit on Highway 21 eastbound toward the Hornbeak area. A silver Chevy reportedly reached speeds over 100 miles per hour and repeatedly refused to stop. The vehicle later slowed and eventually stopped near a church within the Hornbeak city limits.
