Checks of one driver showed a valid Tennessee license, but a later records search indicated a possibly stolen driver’s license out of Illinois for another person linked to the stop.

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a possible domestic assault involving a man who allegedly assaulted a woman in a vehicle on or near Wilson Circle in Dyersburg. He then left the area in a gray or blue SUV with his uncle, reportedly heading toward the Friendship area. A previous be-on-the-lookout alert for a white vehicle connected to this incident was canceled after the vehicle was located and returned.
