As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were asked to patrol the area near South Louise Avenue and 41st Street after a previously pursued vehicle was reportedly found at an apartment complex. Units were requested to look for people on foot possibly connected to the vehicle, which was believed to be from Rapid City with temporary paper plates.

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit near 26th Street and Homefield Drive in Sioux Falls. The suspect vehicle, described as a small white two-door passenger car possibly similar to a BMW, reportedly turned its lights off and may have crashed on a gravel or service road east of I-29. Units later searched the nearby bike path and Skunk Creek area, and requested video from cameras near Marion and 18th to help identify the vehicle.
