Tideland Rd, Nehalem, OR 97131

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a possible water rescue on the Nehalem River near the Tidelands boat ramp after reports that two people were in a yellow and white boat that appeared to be sinking. Another boat reportedly reached them and began towing the distressed vessel toward shore, and responding units were told to continue at a non-emergency pace while some fire units were allowed to stand down.

US-101, Nehalem, OR

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of possible illegal dumping of two mattresses near milepost 46 on Highway 101 in the Nehalem area. Units were asked to look for a Penske rental box truck with Indiana plates, possibly parked near a marina by Brighton. The reporting party later indicated the suspects may have returned and picked up the mattresses, and the county response was canceled.
