SW Evergreen Ave, Redmond, OR 97756

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a possible road hazard on Southwest Evergreen Avenue east of Highway 97, where a vehicle control arm was reported on the westbound side of the road and removed by a passerby. A northbound train temporarily stopped traffic at the nearby Airport Way crossing, but rail traffic was expected to resume normally after the train passed.

SW Glacier Ave, Redmond, OR 97756

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic describes a two-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 97 near Glacier Avenue in Redmond. A GMC Sierra had severe front-end damage, a small boat trailer and boat ended up in the southbound lane, and one of the vehicles was reported on fire with no one inside. Southbound Highway 97 was closed and traffic was diverted to Glacier Avenue while medics and fire crews responded. One person reportedly had a cut on the head and was evaluated by ambulance personnel.

As discussed during the dispatch call, an officer checked a parking lot on Southwest Obsidian Avenue in Redmond for a reported vehicle, but it appeared to be gone. Dispatch then linked the contact to a specific individual associated with an address on that street, and another unit indicated they were heading toward the area.
