As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of a possibly rabid raccoon acting aggressively and reportedly chasing people near the bridge and turnaround area at Rogers Point Park. The reporting party waited nearby in a dark gray Volkswagen while deputies responded.

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of a red pickup truck swerving on the road near Highway 66 and the Waterford area by Catoosa. The caller said people were trying to pull the truck out of a ditch, and a vehicle tag was provided that came back to a red Dodge registered off (number withheld) in Tulsa.

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic involves two separate matters. First, a caller at Rogers Point park requested a burn permit for burning tree limbs in a brush pile off a nearby road, and dispatch planned to collect the information and email it since no one was at the fire station. Second, officers were advised of an apparent ongoing animal problem involving two loose huskies reported to have killed cats and tried to attack the reporting party’s cat near the intersection of West Goodykoontz Avenue and South Hickory Street.
