As discussed during the dispatch call, a 36-year-old male appears to have a cervical spinal fracture after falling while body surfing at the beach near Arendell St. He reportedly hit his head in the sand and there is concern for spinal cord injury with some paresthesia. EMS transported him to the hospital.
