As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a reported fire alarm at a gym on Oceanic Drive. Crews found no signs of fire, and it was determined to be a possible alarm system malfunction. Responding units were returned to service.

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic reports a BOLO for a green Corvette near NC-211 and Midway Road after it reportedly ran several vehicles off the road while heading toward Southport. Agencies in the Southport area were asked to be notified about the possible reckless driver.

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a reported vehicle fire near Midway Road. Crews and law enforcement located a Jeep off to the side of the road, confirmed the fire appeared to be out, and had the vehicle moved off the bridge. Additional incoming units were canceled once the scene was secured.

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency units were sent to a possible vehicle fire near Southport Supply Road and Midway Road. The driver later reported the vehicle restarted, the tow request was canceled, and the vehicle remained in the right-hand lane as units cleared the scene.
