As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were sent to a truck stop near Rock Barn Road in Conover for a report of an apparently intoxicated man in a red shirt causing a disturbance. The caller said the man talked about stealing without being caught and asked about the caller’s vehicle because he wanted to vandalize it.

A caller reported the child came to the door asking for help, then left and was later seen at a nearby residence that has reportedly had prior domestic disturbance calls. Officers were asked to stay with the child until another unit arrived.
