The son had previously threatened suicide but was not reported to have made new threats during this call. He apparently left the residence and was believed to be either hiding in a vehicle in the backyard or walking away on foot before officers located a male in the backyard area. A related domestic call was also reported on Schuyler Street, where a son allegedly pushed his father, who declined medical transport.
