As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency medical services responded to a 97-year-old male near E Michigan Ave with chest pain that started about five minutes prior to the call. The pain appears reproducible with palpation and inspiration. Vital signs included a heart rate of 55, oxygen saturation of 94%, blood pressure of 131 over 67, and a Glasgow Coma Scale score between 14 and 15. The patient has a history of dementia. Transport to the hospital is expected in about four to five minutes.
