As discussed during the dispatch call, officers in Madisonville monitored a vehicle that was reportedly fleeing west on Center Street after a possible hit-and-run. Units attempted to locate the vehicle near Boggs Drive and other nearby roads. A tan Ford Escape was later checked at a residence on Bartlett, where officers discussed possible front-left bumper damage but then reported that the vehicle did not appear to be damaged.

A caller reported that several guns were inside the vehicle and that the man appeared to have dementia and might not be safe to drive. The man’s identification listed an address in Nebo.
