As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews were dispatched to a possible shooting at an apartment complex near North Woodlawn Boulevard. Medics were initially told to stage until police secured the scene. A secondary call referenced another apartment where a man was banging on a door and the caller reported seeing blood. Police later cleared EMS to enter a second building through the south door after a blood trail was found ending at a back door and no second patient was located.
