He was initially reported as not awake and not breathing, and CPR was started. A responding officer reported that the man was later awake, breathing, and altered, and fire was advised that a full response was not needed.

Dispatch attempted to obtain a description of the person seen at the window or who made the call, but there was no camera access and no suspect description. A key holder who was not on scene reportedly said that no one should be in the office. In a separate nearby matter, officers and EMS were sent to a report of an unknown person in the backyard of a house behind a Family Dollar, possibly related to a medical issue or overdose.
