As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Goshen responded to a large industrial plant on Hackberry Drive. Battalion 9 assumed command under the name Keystone and conducted a full exterior check, which appeared unremarkable, before directing a crew to enter the building and search to the right.

A man reported that his ex-partner followed him from another county and was parked nearby watching him from her vehicle. Earlier, a woman had reported that her ex left her home in Cromwell in a white truck with a trailer and two kayaks that she said were not hers, but the reported kayak owner said the kayaks did not belong to them.
