As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers received a report of a possible burglary in progress at a home on North Austin Avenue in Chicago. The caller said she was hiding in a bathroom and could hear and see people inside the residence. Officers checked the location, had trouble accessing the front, and could not reach the caller on callback. Neighbors later reported that the caller may actually be staying at a hospital or other facility and had not lived at the address for some time, suggesting the report may be unfounded or confused.
