As discussed during the dispatch call, active vegetation/wildland fire with insufficient hydrant pressure in the Colorado City area; command requests increased pump capacity, is told existing hydrant pressure is the best available, identifies Glen Eagle 165 as the best hydrant, routes engines and Type 1/Type 6 resources to North, South, Applewood/Glenwood, and the interstate near exit 74, and requests additional water tenders including from the city and CDOT.

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies received a report of two vehicles — a silver Kia Forte and a blue or gray Jeep Cherokee — seen exiting I‑25 at Exit 101 and traveling westbound on Highway 50 before pulling into a gas station near Circle K. The situation was reported as suspicious activity.
